It's for a slasher. Nothing groundbreaking. Nothing new. I'm just fitting the slasher movie formula because I feel like writing and I can't focus on my other more serious project right now. But yeah :3
Anyway, the characters.
Chara 1. _____ Cunningham. He's a boy, somewhere between the ages of 17 and 20, caucasian and lean, but somewhat toned. He has average features and a laid back personality, but at times can be a bully and take things too far. He's single, but looking to score with one of the girls over the weekend. He isn't rich, but his parents are fairly well off, upper middle class I guess. He isn't the leader of any clique or group, but being the wealthier one of his friends, most finance related responsibilities fall on him. He buys pot and alcohol for his friends, but doesn't seem to mind.
Chara 2. ____ _____ between the ages of 18 and 20. Somewhat muscular, not ripped or athletic but considerably more toned than the other guys at the weekend retreat. Either Puerto Rican, Italian of some South American background, only ancestral however, he's an American through and through. He has a penchant for aviator sunglasses and he's the "second in command" of the group. He's dating Chara 5. It's an on-off relationship and they break up alot, but they are currently together.
Chara 3. ___ ___, Mixed race African-American and Caucasian. Between the age of 18 and 20. Average build, not lean like Chara 1 but not as toned as Chara 2. Character is a pothead and a stoner, more so than the others who do it recreationally. Character is the comic relief of the group as he hopelessly tries to get the girl and is obviously surpassed by the other guys. Characters main reason for being within the group is he is the only one who has his own car *some of the others can drive, but need to resort to using their parents cars with permission*. Somewhat goofy and can take things too far, likes to joke about.
Chara 4. ___ ___ age 18 to 20, leader of the gang. Caucasian with auburn hair and an Irish-American heritage. Fairly handsome, but not striking. He has a somewhat jerky arrogance about him that unless your a friend, will make you feel unwelcome and threatened. A complete frat boy type, with the exception he's not in University, he likes drinking games and sexist jokes and whilst a good friend, is a complete asshole.
Chara 5. ___ ____ age 18 to 20, caucasian. An average framed girl (a healthy weight, not curvy or slender) whos mildly buxom and has an attractive face. Dating Chara 2., they have a frictional on-off relationship and break up often for petty reasons, but are currently back together. She was never a beauty queen, head cheerleader or most popular girl at high school, but was still fairly popular for whatever reason. She's into fashion (whats trendy and whatnot, instead of the high end fashion magazines, designers and garments) and likes to be treated well, whilst she isn't spoiled, she is always aware of when and where her boyfriend takes her for granted.
Chara 6. ___ ____ easily the most stable/neutral of the three girls, between the age of 18 and 20 and some mild trace of ethnicity that gives her tanned/bronzed skin. Maybe Italian or Hispanic? Mildly attractive, but somewhat plain and with an slim, lithe figure. She likes to keep her hair its natural colour and whilst not a vegan or a naturist, has something to say about the climate and whatnot. She can be bitchy at times, but is by far the nicest of the three girls. She's a close friend of Chara 1. as they used to be best friends in childhood, so she isn't particuarly close to any of the other characters. She's sensible, but does know how to have a good time.
Chara 7. ____ _____ aged 18 to 20, caucasian. Has a strong crush on both Chara 2. and Chara 4. but only because their status/looks. She can be bitchy at times, but Chara 5. is by far the cruelest of the girls (not to suggest she's malicious). Not really a bimbo and is fairly sure of herself and somewhat intelligent, but can't hold her drink and loves getting drunk. She's promiscuous and often talks about sex either shocking or humouring whoever is with her. She's generally more accepting of Chara 6.'s induction into the group rather than Chara 5.'s.
Well of course I have the stereotypes down, its a slasher, duh. > >'
And as for the whole black community thing, every character in this a pothead. Did people throw a shit fit when the only black and asian castmembers in the crappy Friday 13th remake were drug addicts? No. Get over yourself! Like I said it wasn't a serious project, so stop trying to make me sound like the pulsating blemish of the writing world. And yes CHARA short for character, most writers shortern words to save time. Shows how much you know.
i'm a private hire driver,i received a letter from housing benefit department asking me to give them evident that i'm using my car for business only, can you give me an idea please.thank you
I'm looking at a 2002 Honda S2000 to buy. The price is listed at $15,370, how much could I realistically lower the price if I paid in cash? How big of an incentive is that to dealers?
I'm not interested in financing a vehicle, I'd like to buy straight out with cash to avoid interest and car payments.
Thanks!
Car has about 50k miles on it. I've seen a lot of AP1's on craigslist for around $10,000-$12,000 but they usually have high mileage and are modded, which usually means they were driven hard or raced. I'm not really interested in an S2000 with 100,000+ plus miles on it... I know I would be basically taking over someone elses problem.
I am upside down on my current vehicle so i am trading it in, but since I am trading it I was wondering if I would still need a downpayment. My credit is bad its about 520. Please help I am trying to better myself and my finances. I can afford another car its just the whole getting approved without a co signer and without a downpayment. What should I do?
I liked this VW beetle but I would have to finance it but its a used car would it be dumb to finance a used car just for the fact that its used ??
HERES THE CAR Click Here
I just got a used car from a small dealership. The price of the car was 3995. I had to finance the car because I didn't have the cash on hand. I put 500 down and they told me that they would try to lower my interest rate. They said they couldn't and now I have an interest rate of 33%. They also asked for another 500 in two weeks. My car payments are 220 a month for the next 23 months. My friend told me to pay it for 6 months and than just pay the rest off. I can't afford this plus 300 insurance. How can I pay this car off before my two years that way I can get rid of this bill?
I really need a car because I live in area with limited public transportation and I started a new job so I have to wait 3 months for financing on a used car? Any ideas?
Hi Everybody! Has anybody ever moved cross country? Or from the US to Canada? I am moving from San Francisco to Ontario (north of Toronto)
I am attending University in Ontario for vetinary school! I was born in Canada but grew up in the US (California). I don’t remember anything about Canada and have no clue about moving there.
I have about five 20 x 24 boxes that I need to ship there. What is the best way to go about moving them cross country?
I am also bringing a car. I don’t want to ruin it by putting so many miles on it (used Toyota camry or might be a used pruis) and according to mapquest it will take 45 hours to drive there! Or roughly, 350 in gas cost.
Morever, I’m only 22 and my parents (who are helping in part to finance my vet school and lending me their car for two years only) refuse to let me drive it there since Im a small girl and it would take 45 hours of driving and it might not be safe , etc.
How would I go about shipping the car?
I myself am flying there.
Does anybody know about buying car insurance there as well as cell phone? I currently have triple A and also At and T cell phone plan.
Quite honestly I am scared to death about going to Canada for professional school. But it’s so much cheaper than American vet schools (by about 10k). I was going to go to an American vet school, but they received my intent to enroll a little bit to late : (
Anybody who has lived in Ontario—can you guys give me any tips? I am Canadian by birth and Also hold American citizenship, but I have NO IDEA what it’s like to live there. I don’t have any friends nor family and the last time my parents were in Canada was 21 years ago!
Does anybody know the cost of living in Ontario how it compares to SF Suburbs? If I am sick, can’t I just drive an hours south of the border to upstate New York and go visit the doctor there?
I am scared to death : _ (
I have no clue how the Ontario health system works: dental, optometry, and everything else (I have asthma )
This is the story: 2 days ago i bought an 04 mustang GT, with only 29,000 miles on it (aprox) for 11,750$ (that price includes tax's and registration fees). When i test drove the car i noticed the check engine light came on, and the dealer said he'd fix it promptly. When i picked up the car, it was gone so he told me it was taken care of. Today i drove the car and while shifting gears the car stalled and shut off WHILE I WAS DRIVING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD, THANK GOD i pulled and veered to the side and hit the E-brake. Guess what, apparently there was EXTREME corrosion on the battery connectors and the positive one just Flew right off. Not only that, but the check engine light was still on. Now, I had financed the car through my credit union..the credit union only gave me 10,750$ because i have another existing loan. The guy said he'd let me get away with paying him weekly for the rest of the difference. My idea here is that since he nearly risked my life, i should not pay a penny for the repairs and /or sue him for enough money to just buy the car. What are my legal options? (p.s he said it came with a 6 month warranty standard, and my credit union gave me a 4 year one)
I am planning on buying my first car either new or certified used from a dealership. What do I do first? Look around until I find a car I want and then go through their finances department for a loan? Or do I shop around for a good loan (low APR) and then look for a car?
Which of the following describes the correct process for solving the equation 3x + 6 = 21 and arrives at the correct solution?
Divide both sides by 6 and then add 3. The solution is x = 5.
Add 6 to both sides of the equation and then divide by 3. The solution is x = 9.
Subtract 6 from both sides of the equation and then divide by 3. The solution is x = 8.
Subtract 6 from both sides of the equation and then divide by 3. The solution is x = 5.

A car dealer offers you two deals on a car that costs $16,000. Please calculate the monthly payment, given these two payment options the car dealer is offering.
Payment Option 1: You can finance the car for 60 months with no interest if you make a $3,000 down payment.
Payment Option 2: You can finance the car for 72 months (6 years) with 1% simple annual interest and no down payment. (Hint: To calculate simple annual interest, use the formula Interest = Principal * Rate * Time (in years). Add the amount of interest to the price of the car.)
Which monthly payment amount is lower? Please explain how you arrived at your answer and show all of your work for each option.
I want to finance a used vehicle that is 11,000 dollars here in Florida. I have 2,000 down. What percentage rate can I expect? Is 644 a decent credit score? I've been at the same job for 4 years. I really don't use/need credit until it comes down to buying a car (tired of driving cars I have to fix every month LOL). At what percentage rate should I walk away?
I'm a 17 year old looking into getting a used car. Nothing expensive, my limit is $10,000. I would definitely have to finance it and I would be making the monthly payments and paying for my own gas. (I have a part-time job). I need some guidance from anyone who has financed a used car before. I'm not entirely sure how auto loans work (through a dealer/through a bank). I want to know what my options are under these circumstances:
-I do not have any established credit yet
-My mom (whose credit i'm assuming it would be based on?) does not have very good credit. She has, however, never filed bankruptcy or had any repos.
-Are there any options involving $0 down payment?
Please do not just say "talk to your bank", I realize I can do that, I'm just looking for some advice here from anyone who has been through this or been in a situation like mine.
Thank you for your help!
response to cashmaker81: Yes, I have found many I like from $3000-7000
I've been in the Art Institute of Seattle for a year and a half or so, almost 2, and when I transferred to AI in Tennessee, I was held since most of my credits didn't transfer.
I'm 21 right now and major in Graphic Design. I went through a phase around the age of 20, and was thinking about dropping out because I didn't want to waste my mom's money at the time. I have always dedicated to teach myself a lot of things, and when I took the quarter off and used all of the money I had saved for an apartment for a few months, I was really thinking about dropping out. Finding a job was the hard part at the time since living in Downtown Seattle meant having a lot of people looking for jobs as well.
Because of that, I went back home and decided to have the idea to go to a public college and major in Psychology/Sociology. But after weeks of talking to my mom, I decided to go back to Art Institute and finish my years...even though most of my credits didn't transfer when I moved to AI in Tennessee, and the results had me back at square one.
I majored in Graphic Design for a quarter or 2, then I swap to Animation. Knowing that animating wasn't my thing (since I love to draw only), I was thinking about transferring to AI in Atlanta since it had the major I WANTED....Illustration! But after thinking about it and knowing that I don't want the whole not enough credits and extending my year again, I decided to stay put and switch back to Graphic Design.
So, here I am, trying to suck up a bit since some of the new teachers being hired here are doing too much in terms of me handling workload, which I know is understandable for college students, but I just don't like how some try to get to me and give me a low grade because I "could've done better". Well I'm sorry that I don't put my all on what the school wants me to do, I just do what's needed for the requirements, so don't give me a low grade for it. (I just like to draw and digital paint, and also a little bit of design related stuff too. This is pretty much an example coming from my Typography class, who my teacher looks at me the wrong way since again, Typography is not where my creativity lies at. I'm just taking the class because it's my requirement).
When I thought I was going down the path of dropping out years ago, I felt really motivated. I took control of my own time, and did what I had to do that was important. I just didn't have much money to buy programs and whatnot, but now, I actually have a friend who hook me up with some stuff at this present day, which is really what I need to get started.
I just don't want my mom to keep using all of her money for my education when I highly prefer to teach myself like I have been outside of my school. So far, that old feeling I had back then while living in Washington is starting to come back. This time, I'm just a little more prepared since I have a car and all, and a few other stuff.
I'm going to role with the punches, but I just need to build up my Plan B while I'm in college just in case anything happens (finances starting to hurt me and my mom, or academic probation, etc. Anything). I need to get back and start looking for a job so I can at least save some money so one day, I can afford my own roof over my head.
Overall, I prefer to get my degree, it just feels I'm unprepared for it. And because of that, I know I'm wasting my mom's money. Now I'm doing good in most of my classes, it's just some I'm not doing well because of my motivation. I can do better on my own for awhile, and in the future, I will be more comfortable going back.
As for right now, I'm just preparing and waiting wether that time comes or not.
I apologize for this long story. Just been through a lot like any other student.
We all start somewhere in our lives. That "calling". And I'm beginning to think I'm starting to here my "calling" a little.
You can afford monthly deposits of only $200 into an annuity that pays 7.98% compounded monthly. How long will it be until you will have 5000 to purchase a used car? Show work please
for example a 20000 loan at 7.7% over 60
months. how would a used car dealership normally calculate the monthly payment?
that is 7.7% annual fixed rate
I applied for a auto loan through my bank and got approved for $12,000.000. I went to the dealership and got approved for a loan with better interest rate so I took the loan through the dealer. I took the Nissan home already and made a down payment of $2000.00. Since my loan with the dealer has not gone through yet because they need my pay check stubs does it mean that if I go buy a second car with my bank loan, it will be fine?
I mean my bank has approved me for the loan already but instead I decided to go with the dealers loan. I want to purchase the Honda before I send in my paycheck stubs to the dealer to make sure the loan has 100% been financed because Im afraid that my bank will decline my loan if they find out that I already have another loan out.
I'm planning on buying a Honda Civic for $7500.00 and paying $3000.00 cash while letting the loan take over the $4500.00. It's not like I'm using the whole $12,000.00 loan amount just $4500 of it. What do you know? Has this happened to you before? Please help!!
So the questions are:
1. Will my bank be able to pull up that I have accepted a loan from the dealer even though the dealer's loan has not completely gone through (they need my pay check stubs)?
2. Will my bank void my loan out if I purchase a second vehicle if they find out that I already have a loan?
I am going to get a job in a suburban area in Pennsylvania, which means I need car (I currently live in a place where I do not need a car). Let's just say I have almost no extra money saved, but the job will be paying good (50-60k/year). What are my options in terms of financing a car purchase.
My car broke down in June and I had it towed to a repair shop, they said it will cost over 1k to fix it and I owe towing fee and they charge storage fees as well. I lost my job in May and fell behind on my auto loan payments and definately dont have the money for repair or to pay off towing fees. I spoke to the finance company and they said there is nothing they can do to help me get my payments caught up since I have used all those options in the last 12 months. I told the finance company where the vehicle was if they wanted it since im not going to run into a financial miracle to pay all this money. It has been over a month and they have not picked the car up from repair shop. The repair shop is saying if someone does not come for the car within 30 days they will get a magistrates title and auction it. I dont even know if thats legal and I am just stressed to the limit. Does anyone know if it is legal, or have any advice? I hope this makes sense!
I owe for storage and tow fees only, I told them not to repair since I did not know if I could come up with the repair amount. I knew they could put mechanics lien on it if they did.
The total amount owed to finance company is 8k im behind 3 months which is 1500. The tow service was 50 to tow and 35 dollars a day it has been there since June 23rd..The cars value is a measly 3k as well../sigh
I am looking into going to Drivetime to get a car. I have horrible credit due to some time I didn't work and have medical bills. Someone told me this would be a good option because they finance people who have bad credit. I was supposidly "pre approved" and was told online to set up an appointment. Before I go, I was wondering if anyone has ever used drive time? Do they have okay cars? The only bad things I have seen online are people who were mad at them for calling when they didn't make a payment.
