did i deserve an xplanation for him hurting me like this?

ok so i was dating a man for over a year & a half & he asked me to move in (after only 1 month) & i turned him down. now the reason i did that bc i wanted to get to know him better & also bc i get sick a lot and i wanted to stay near my parents jic sumthn happnd & bc my two girls live with me. anyhoo, the relationship was going really good... (so i thought) when he got sick at work & fell out. he was waiting for a heart & i guess he was stressed bc of his line of work & it was too much for him. now since we had a bit of distance btween us, we stayed on the phone & was constantly emailing each other. he wanted my life to be easier bc of the illness & girls & i wanted to keep him form stressing so he offered me a share in an amusement park (in writing) that he was opening & i said ok. he also said i should handle the entertainers for whatever venue he had going on at the time. now at the time he was suppose to be hiring Prince & MJB but they found him a heart & we had to cancel. so after he had the operation his lawyer contacted me & said evrything went well & would send a car for me to come see him... it never went down tho bc he didnt want me to c him like that. & since i get sick a lot i knew how he felt. so a couple of weeks went by of him complaining about his partner stealing from him & people not giving a ish about him, i wanted to kill all those ppl who was hurtng him. i prayed for this man more than i did myself & didnt need it n return. i didnt want to b his trophy wife, i just wanted to continue to love him and his 5 kids & definately didnt want to hurt him the same way those other broads had, as his daughter told me. i started noticing the emails stop coming so i got worried. i called, emailed, & texd him all day long & didnt hear from him for weeks, until his lawyer called & said his body rejected the heart and they had to replace it... thank god! so time passed & still didnt hear from him, so now all i could do was assume was the worse. i cried sooo much.. i mean i baby cried bc i didnt know if he made it or not & all i could do was cry, pray, & email him to c if he was ok. i wud say 2 months went by & he answered one of my emails & told me he was ok but was pissed off that he had a nurse that was always there. now i didnt suspect nothing bc we talked like we would any other time & i wanted to just b there to help him, but he claimed that he didnt feel up to my standards & didnt want me to see him. i explained that i wanted him no matter how he thought i felt for him bc i lvd him. he followed w/o an answer but would request for my friendship on different sites... wtf? another 2 mos passed & i looked him up on facebook & sent a request. it took him a month to accept me & thats when i saw he had sum1 else & was using MY daily heartsong method i made up 4 him, on his new girl....? i didnt want to post nething on his wall (afraid i wud upset his woman) & sent him a message saying i was upset that all that time i thought he was dead, he was talking to another broad... sum1 who hurt him n the past? he sent me a message back saying "how dare u request me as a friend just to justify ur accusations!"... ? & that he didnt owe me an apology and hated the words that i had said... ? how dare i? my heart hurt so bad bc i asked him if he still loved me b4 & he said yes & asked me to stay with him. so i sent an email saying that i never said he owed me nething and that i never asked for nething. he threw his fame, money, yatch, & mansion at me and i never bit back. although i did want to do a few concerts, it was only to say that i have done it bc i had done everythng career wise i had ever wanted to do, & the music thing was the last one on my list. he made me feel lower than the dirt below my feet. we was fighting life together but now i was doing it alone. i know i only have a good 2-3 yrs left, & i am 33 now, but i didnt want to die alone like we both promised each other, but i lost hope after that. i know he is a good man, but he could hav said sumthn! i didnt know what i did or said, but i could only assume that it bothered him when i was constantly asking him if he was ok... idk. after i sent my last email apologizing for whatever i had done wrong i blocked him from sending me anything else & also from my friend lists. i guess it hurt me more to find out that he was ok but left me to worry more than nething. i knew i wasnt on his level but i didnt need his money, my dad paid all my bills, so he left me to wonder. i usually can move on quickly but it is fuqn wit me bc he did it like that. even tho im with sum1 else now it pops up every now and again bc i hear about him & c the porche he bought me evrywhere i go. can u tell me why i cant seem to let it go even tho it has been over 5 mos? and do u think i would feel better if i did hear him tell me fuq me? i dont evn care about the amusement park or my position n the company cuz i didnt hav it to bgin with.. i guess im just hurt, u know?
if u think my story is too long... skip it. i just wanted to know if i should be hurting from this. oh and im sorry if my grammar sucks, its not something i had on my mind while i was writing this.

Can I claim mileage on my taxes for this purpose?

I work for a company that often sends me out to job sites to do contractual work for clients. The only time my company compensates me for mileage is if I go out of town. During the past year and a half, I have been contracted out to 1 company each and every day that requires me to travel double the distance I would have normally travelled if i was at my office. I am using my own car, and my employer is not compensating me for the extra travel I've done over the last year and a half. Can I claim this on my taxes?

hey im 13 year old boy and my big brother died 2 years ago when he was 14 in a car accident i was also included but wasn't killed a semi hit the side of car (Passenger) witch was where i was siting... and we started fliping over long story short he died:( now i feel really bad i miss him really bad he was a perfect brother to me he use to do everything for me like i could of used him for so many things in the passed 2 years things i just went through on my own but needed his help, is there a way that i stop feeling this bad about it?

how can a pay a parking fine in euro from uk?

I received a parking ticket while using a hire car on holiday in France (Avignon). It was the last day, and we had to catch a train home, so there wasn't enough time to pay. On the ticket it says the only payments accepted are cheque or timbre-amende (which later we learned is a stamp obtained from a Tabac). The department is Trésor Public, and the ticket is labelled "Contravention a l'arret ou stationment".

The trouble is I am now in the UK, and have discovered that banks, post office and bureau de change do not issue cheques in euro (aka eurocheques). The hire company (Avis) says they will not pay the fine on my behalf. I have read in forums that the fine will be passed onto the hire company, and eventually it will be passed back to me, but I don't want €30 to end up being €300. I have trawled the internet trying to find a telephone number some basic advice, and there is nothing helpful. I even spent an hour with a French friend and he was as perplexed as I was.

I tracked down one site for paying fines online and an automated telephone service, but the code on my ticket does not match the required number of digits (i have only 8). I believe both these services are for speeding, not parking and they ask for 14 digits.

I'm not sure if travellers cheques would be acceptable. Ideally I would do a bank transfer but there is no-one to ask about the procedure. I want to sort this out before penalties are added. Can anyone help please?

Is 29.99% on Used car to high?

Ok. My sister is buying a car at used dealer ship in Spartanburg, SC called "Family Auto". It an 2000 cavalier LS with 109,000 miles on it. Plus she traded in a 94 buick regal with nothing wrong with it but cutting off when driving a 3 or 4 miles and that it. He gave her $500 for that and she had to put $500 down on payment. I can not calculate Apr too well. If anyone know the formula, please email or let me know for my future references? But, he told her it 2.99 % a month or something. Ain't that simple interest? They finance it with the dealership loan. She has no credit but her co-signer has credit score in 650 or more I believe. She only 18 years old her grandmother sign the loan with her. The car price is $6995 plus tax & title fees minus $1000 down on car for 7 years. Is that 29.99% Apr too much?

I believe so. I told her if I was her I would go back to dealership and say "FORGET TAKE IT BACK"? And do South Carolina has a 30 days law on loan cancellation or somethings? Can used dealership do this? I don't know nothing much about the law. But, does this have anything to do with the "Usury Law"?

Are there any stores that sell clear decal paper?

I'm trying to make new car window decals for my graduating class, because nobody likes the design that was chosen and distributed to the students. Does anybody know of any stores that would sell clear decal paper? I'd prefer stores that aren't online so I could just drive out and get some paper, rather than waiting a week for it to be shipped to me.

Better yet, does anybody have recommendations of design-your-own window decal sites that they have personally used before (or someone they know have used before)? Thanks so much!

Motorcycle Permit Help ?

I'm a 15 and 1/2 year old resident of California with a car learner's permit and I really need some help help getting my M1/M2 motorcycle permit. I thought I had all the requirements done when I went to the DMV office last week but I misinterpreted the requirement that states "Submit proof of driver education/driver training completion if you are under age 18" (DMV site) as driver education OR driver training, not AND driver training. This was a problem because as I finally made it to the front of the line the man at the counter asked for my proof of driver training and I was forced just to leave. I've done some looking around online and found a place that does the driver's training and it says upon completion of the course I would receive form DL389, which shows I have completed driver training. Online I also read that In California the DL389 form would allow someone to not have to take the actual motorcycle driving test for when they apply for their motorcycle license, just the written test. I have the class set for two weeks from now and my DMV appointment for the week after that.

So, my question is this can use the DL389 form for both the proof of driver training for my permit and use the DL389 to be exempt from the motorcycle driving test, or will the form be invalid after 6 months I have to get my license.

(Note: I realize I will still have to take a written test for both the permit and license, and by the time I apply for the motorcycle license I will have gotten my Car driver's license)

Although I fear my question may be too specific for anyone to know, any answers are MUCH appreciated and the best one will get a 5 star rating.

What is a reliable source for locating crown lands in Quebec ?

I don't really see much info anywhere on the net. The SEPAQ site seems to be only catering to paying campsites and the price is outrageous. I was under the impression that crown lands were public use and not sites that we need to pay for. Anyway, any information would be helpful. It is kind of frustrating to look around and always be lead to a car camping campgrounds. What is someone who wants to go on real hiking expeditions in the wild to do?
Thank you for the answer. I am totally willing to find a spot just out of the blue, and have done it on a few occasions. However, it becomes a problem when you stumble onto private property. What I am looking for a resource that I can use to locate the lands with the same designation as (for instance) "La Gabelle" in Quebec. Public land that you can be on and camp where you want without repercussions. I had thought that the term "crown land" is land that is by definition free to use when respecting certain conditions. as in not needing to pay. I have heard that in order to find these types of places you have to check each municipality and request zoning maps in order to find out where the land is not "owned" by private outfitters and the like. When one just takes off and finds a spot, how exactly is one supposed to know who owns what and where we have the right to be?
I have in fact found a link for Ontario that has a little blurb in it that explains that camping on "crown land" is free of charge for residents of Canada for up to 21 days at any one site...

now, either Quebec took that and modified the laws, and they call the Provincial Parks "crown land" and then charge for access to the park.... or I dont know. There just doesnt seem to be resources to locate where this land is. ( at least readily available)

Could my 1964 1/2 Mustang have a prototype engine?

I have a 1964 1/2 Mustang. I got the car from its second owner with a recently rebuilt engine. The engine is a 260 V8, I have ran the numbers on many different sites and they all say that it should be a V8 engine. But the motor mounts do not fit the car. They are too big, so we had to modify them. I have read that two different 260 V8 engines were used in the early 1964 Mustangs. Is there a way that I have one of these other 260s that were used in the Shelby Cobras, Fairlanes, Comets, and Meteors? If anyone knows anything about the early 1964 1/2 Mustangs and engines, please let me know! I am very curious as to what engine I really have! Thanks!

I just bought a Used 2000 VW Jetta with 143,000 miles on it. It runs great so far(1 week) and no problems yet. I have seen allot of negative reviews on various car sites. I paid 2500 for it. SO... am i an idiot!?

I use a walker to help me walk and I keep my disabled parking placard in it in the basket part of it. My walker usually goes in the back of the van or in a trunk of a car.

My dad and I were parking in a handicapped place. My dad got out of the car to get my placard when a car comes up and stops just inches away from the back of the car so my dad can't get to it. The person in the car says she called the police on us for parking in a handicapped space with out the placard and rolls up her window and refuses to look at us. So he can't explain.

I call the police on my cell phone and explain what is going on and they say they are sending an officer out. When the police get there my dad tries explaining his side of the story. The officer slaps my dad with the $250 fine and tells us to leave the premises or he will arrest my dad. So my dad leaves and takes me home. We are both very angry at the way we were trapped.

I want to know what the law is regarding this. I recorded the whole thing on my cellphone accidentally. Can we use the recording in court if we decide to sue the person and the officers.

Most importantly do I have to keep my placard with me. It is so much easier to keep it in my walker. I am always afraid I will lose it and I will with all the different cars I travel in.

I live in Illinois.

Also what will be involved in fighting it like would I need a lawyer and stuff like that.

When my dad saw he was getting nowhere with the woman, he came and sat in the car till the police got there. When the officer arrived he was so rude to us. Everywhere I drive I always see signs that say "no engine break" underneath the speed limit signs and i never know what it means. A couple people have asked this question on this site but when I navigated to their question, the answers didn't help me because I am just plain stupid when it comes to cars. The answers I saw were really confusing and I did not understand at all because it used a lot of car terms... So if anybody could narrow down an answer to this question in layman's terms for me, I would appreciate it because I am very curious!

PS: I saw words like RPM, down shifting, people asking if you have an automatic vehicle (how do you know? arent they all automatic?), "transmission in lower gear" etc etc... and please don't make fun of me, I told you I was stupid when It came to car language.

Hello, for some reason my computer keeps redirecting me to random websites, some are rude ones and this is really annoying, it started today and my dad is also having the same problem on his apple laptop, for example I go to Google or Yahoo and type in "car" and it redirects me to some random site, it seems to happen half the time so you have to click the link a few times until you reach the site you wan't to visit, it also opens new tabs and I'm running AVG scans at the moment, what is causing this for both computers, I think it is happening on all computers in my house, It mainly happens when using google, I have tried using both internet explorer and google chrome and the same problem occurs, please help!!!! thanks!! :)

Am I seriously over reacting moms and dads?

Ok a week or so ago I was on facebook and my step-mom sends me an IM on a Tuesday. She wanted to know if she can take my 9 year old to the park with the church kids group. I told her yes she could take him. She tells me what park they are going to, that she would be the one to pick him and drop him off after it was over. I asked her what time she would pick him up on Thursday. She told me she would pick him up at 11ish Then we talking about something else and nothing else was said about it at that point in time. Well Thursday comes and she picks him up and I hand her the sun screen and so other stuff for him while he was putting on his shoes. She starts talking to my 2 year. Then we start talking about other things not related to the park. AS they where getting in the car she reminds me of the park they where going to and if I needed anymore info to look on the church web site. They leave and I go on about my day with my 2 year old. Around 3 pm I remember that his grandmother was picking. I had forgot to tell her because I am not use to him leaving on a Thursday. So I call he cell phone and she does not answer so I send her a text because that would be easier to to check. Well at 3:30 she sends me a text back telling me that she was on her way to work and that my step- aunt would bring him home around 5 or so.

Now I did not know she had to work and I knew nothing about him coming home with my aunt. So the next day she sends me another IM fussing about my sister. Well I get mad becasue what my sister does in her life is not really any of my business. I fuss at her about that. Then I go on to fuss at her about her not telling me that my aunt was bringing him home. And that I was not happy that she did not let me know and what if something had happened I would have not have know that he was with someone else. She proceeds to tell me that I have no reason to get mad because it was my aunt and that I trusted her and that he was in good hands. Well I keep fussing at her and tell her that I do have a right to get mad because I am his mother.She also says she did not think it was a big deal and she did not think she needed to tell me because it was my aunt and that he has gone places whit him before. I keep telling her that I have every right to know who my 9 year old is with and where he is at at all times.

What do you all think?? Am I really over reacting or is she just not thinking all the way. What would you do if this would have happen to you and your child?
I am not really that mad that he came home with my aunt, I am a little upset about not knowing. I am really mad because she told me that she did not think she needed to tell me that he was coming home with my aunt.
